InvenioRDM-Workshop 2026.

The next version of our research data repository will be based on InvenioRDM, and UHH has been one of the project’s partners from the very beginning.

 The InvenioRDM community meets every spring at a different partner location to discuss the developments of the past year, the progress of the project, and the future direction. After the 2025 meeting took place with us in Hamburg, this year it was held from February 23 to 27 on the campus of TU Graz.

The first two days featured presentations by individual partners who had contributed significant progress and interesting developments to the project over the past year. Representatives of CERN, which leads the project organizationally, showcased AI-assisted workflows that can greatly simplify filling out input forms for new data.

Starting Wednesday, the program was once again dedicated to open-space workshops, where everyone could propose topics and, in most cases, have them successfully discussed. Many of the topics relevant or potentially relevant to the UHH repository were addressed in this way, including curation workflows and cross-institutional login mechanisms. It is always gratifying to see the friendly, supportive, and productive atmosphere in which the Invenio-RDM community collaborates.
