The Herbarium Hamburgense Lichen Collection in FUNDus! and Jacq

The Herbarium Hamburgense is now presenting 265 digital objects from its lichen collection on the FUNDus! collection portal. This is the first collection to be published in collaboration with the Jacq Virtual Herbaria, a cross-institutional herbarium management system and virtual search portal. Currently, around 28,000 records from the Herbarium Hamburgense are managed by Jacq, which represents only a fraction of the more than 1.8 million plant specimens held by the Herbarium Hamburgense. 

The Centre for Sustainable Research Data Management actively supports the collaboration with Jacq, and we will gradually make a representative selection of the collections available to the public via our collection portal.
