“Digital and Data Literacy in Teaching Lab” (short: DDLitLab) celebrated the funded profjects on 6 March 2024.
21 approved teaching projects strengthened the students' data literacy in subject-specific, interdisciplinary or transfer-oriented courses by providing a basic understanding of data practices and encouraging critical reflection.
The Center for Sustainable Research Data Management was involved for the second time with the project "Early Education for Data Management Decisions (E²D²)". The aim was to convey to students the relevance of FDM for their data and theses. This includes, among other things, the 3 - 2 - 1 backup rule for good data backup and the development of a data structure including versioning. Training courses were offered that addressed the entire data life cycle. Training courses and workshops will continue to be organized by the CFDM.
