DESCRIPTION:For you as doctoral researchers it is vital to organise and secure your data right from the start of your research project until you archive it at the end. \n
You need to make sure your data is preserved so that other scholars can reuse it without compromising the legal or ethical rights of others or the purpose of your research. \n
In this introductory workshop on research data management (RDM), you will discover how to efficiently and sustainably provide, store, archive, and publish your research data to make it future-proof and sustainable. You will also learn which RDM infrastructure exist on campus, and why and how this is relevant if you plan to apply for third-party funding in the future. \n
Registration is open until 15 September 2026. Places are limited to 16 participants and there will be a waiting list. Registration is only complete once a confirmation has been received.\n
Please bring your own laptops (mobile devices).\n
LOCATION:Center for sustainable research data management, Bundesstraße 56a, 20146 Hamburg, Rooms 06-105 and 06-101, 6th floor. Accessible only via the passageway through the MIN-Forum library on the 1st floor! From there, take the elevator or stairs to the 6th floor.
